Friday, August 27, 2010 - 06:25 am  Sumthing New for Simcountry. This is a new round of Blogs I am opening up on my Host account for one of my websites. The host site is under construction right now and will be a a while before it is up and fully functional. However the Blog is up and running now. I'll create new pages and Topics as needed. The problem isn't in the div tag I was suggesting, but with some junk code Wordpress adds to the img tag. Your Wordpress version seems to be the current version, so it may work. By the way, the code is to be put at the top of the post. I thought WordPress was supposed to be the shiznit but it seems this subject has stumped every person on WP support forums. There are allegedly plugins to use for this but again, they need to be modified code wise and php is really one ugly fn scripting language. Contrarily,, I am now over 200 page visits and would like to thank the many of yous simoleans who read my drool. More commenting. I may just have to open up another WP blog for SimCountry issues and posts. I can't get all the sim posts under a single page. Ughhh.

We have Started the overhaul with the Music section. It has been renamed The Music Gallery. It is now finished. We are currently about 10% Complete on the total project. but, here are more details on the improvements. | Thursday, September 30, 2010 - 09:35 am We have come a long way. We are now less than 20 page visits shy of 3500. I am currently remodeling my one of a kind Strip Mall on my blog. This the first and only strip mall on a blog, so I am having fun setting a precedent. I am actually getting a decent amount of activity at my stores considering I am still small potatoes traffic wise. Production will continue along with remodeling. It has links to one of my brokers, educational materials, and other Forex literature. It should have real time live quotes being fed by the morning. There are links to my Blog, Twitter, Deeper pages into my site and my Forum. I will start hosting a Forex Trading and Strategy group on my forum. I will post my trading journal and interact with new traders and curious Georges too. In the near future I will be adding a number of sub domains and branch the site off to offer many things in one site that you would normally have to travel to on the net separately. Among them will be a formal Shopping Site, a business opportunity and partnership site, and possibly an IRC server/Channel for live discussion. It is a Store, I do have a Madrantz Mall (The one and ONLY BlogMall, BTW). I didn't intend to make it at first. Just an experiment that is working out wonderfully well. Especially with all the new traffic. I have over 40 partners and growing, I have another 15 to 20 I have not had time to put on the blog. I didn't want to clog my blog with google adsense, I hate sites with those on them. So, I have found some great products/sites to promote. Including Simcountry. I have lots of links to Forex education and competitions. I usually post Daily and weekly outlooks for active traders on that visit my blog as well. I currently Promote my own branding of FOREX on my Domain Homepage. I have Options Brokers, and soon to have Options Trading education there as well. I also am using my blog as a networking sort of deal. I use my twitter to promote my twitter friends' links with a direct link on my blog homepage. To allow people to use my blog as a portal. I have 172 followers and growing daily OMG! There are Blog posts to satisfy the general function of the blog. It is after all a Blog, and it needs post content. I made BlogRantz as a place for others to come and generally bitch about anything, mostly about sim, but I've given up bitching, I'm just playing and promoting nowadays. I wanted to allow a place where ranting is ok. Mostly, my ranting has been limited to politics, because it is what the country cares about, and what is most annoying in the world today it seems. So it draws a crowd. I am breaking and making new records for traffic lately. Since the creation, it has evolved into much more than what I first thought I wanted it to be. The rate it has changed has made me halt construction to my actual site because I noticed I did things on my blog and then had to redo them as my ideas evolved. So, to sum it all up, you can do just about everything from my blog. You can connect to Simcountry. You can shop at some of the world's best online stores. You can find investment tools and education. You can network by linking to twitter/facebook. You can link to many of my twitter friends' sites. Many useful, many just facebook pages and other blogs. You can read my drool, and try not to throw up, among other things as well. I hope you enjoy it, and if you have anything in particular that excites or interests you let me know because odds are if I don't have it on my site, one of my friends' links does. I will point you in the right direction and add a link to what you like here. Look out for my newest construction, MoneyRantz. MoneyRantz will primarily focus on Investment, Personal Finance, Small Business Opportunities, marketing partnerships, and my own forex trading group. The trading group will focus on small time retail investors with minimal start-up/investment funds, with a focu8s on moving from day job to secure day trader. We will have trade journal and a live chat so that traders can shadow successful members until they learn to trade or setup trades on their own. I've been conceptualizing, it is active but I have not started construction. I've been too busy.

I know it sucks, it is also flash video which sucks in my opinion but I think it is because I have some registry issues with an exe being called more than once. But I have a default program that allows me to open and view the file but not download the whole thing. I think it is just an exe file or sumthing then it play the VLC media player. It takes me about 2 or 3 minutes to dl 22+mbs but it plays automatically in like 2 seconds. Maybe you need to select a default option of what you want your comp to do with the file then it should open automatically for you. I still have to confirm, but then check "Do this all the time with this kind of file" and you shouldn't have to do anything, it should just pop up for you.

We are now getting on average 100+ unique visitors a day! We are well above 126,000 page visits. About 25K this month alone. We have opened a forum .Net Community, which has a subsection dedicated to simcountry. I have posted some small help guides with more to come. Federation Leaders are invited to open an account and host a federation forum for advertising, and the chairman or designated person will moderate their own fed forum.
