I'm pretty positive someone who plays this game runs this site...was just wondering who it was? It's how I found SC and it's actually a really good site...was great following the elections in 08.

I followed that site daily during the 2004 and 2008 elections.
I remember the site creator "coming out" after the 2004 elections saying he's a big liberal and he's an expatriot living in The Netherlands. |

Yeah, I thought he did a pretty good job of staying unbiased and was pretty accurate about the outcome of the election, of course that's coming from someone who is fairly liberal as well...so maybe I just thought so.
He mentioned the game twice that I found with a Google search, once in 06 and once in 08. |

You have to make the tough decisions about cutting or raising taxes, how to allocate the federal budget, what kind of infrastructure you want, etc. You also have to decide when to go to war and how to defend your country against attacks. It is very detailed and realistic. If you can beat the other presidents, you can win cash awards. Be warned, playing the game is addictive."
Yeah, he got about 15% of that right. I'm guessing he didn't play much, if at all. But that bastard sure did drag me down here!!! |
