A world with different rules... everyone has been asking for this for a long time. Looking at the news, nothing has been determine what exactly will be different. Players can individually choose between using electric power and nuclear power for countries and corps 4. Players can individually set prices for any of their products 5. Apartments and houses for the population, which players can individually choose (no more homelessness) 6. Did I remember to mention less clicking? 7. No more 5-day wait for military units to start moving 8. Presidents can add or withdraw money from country investment funds 9. An interesting reason for common markets to exist 10. | Friday, July 30, 2010 - 11:53 pm maybe something that the old timers here might want to consider, is to be more open toward mentoring newbs on LO(?) i mean, a free world would be designed to bring new players in, it would probably be to the players bases advantage to do what it takes to keep the new players here. that is assuming its also free for us. ofcourse we still need more info as to what this will actually detail.

| Saturday, July 31, 2010 - 02:48 pm I understand and agree orbiter, but does anyone else think its quite strange that this is the one game where the PLAYERS must do everything to keep new-comers? The game masters are so backwards. They have 5 worlds already, that have never been at capacity and now they are making another one? the Tutorials arent helpful, the god forsaken pop-up boxes on hover are mostly blank, documentation isnt updated, some settings in the game dont make sense...the list can go on. And now we are faced with a "need" to foster new players, a job that the Gamemasters are supposed to do...its their friggin game. (just ranting again).

| Saturday, July 31, 2010 - 04:23 pm i will except your points as valid, its one of those thing i agree and disagree with. theirs allot of those things, a really special category for me, like with south park, i'm amazed and impressed that millions can be entertained by card board cut outs, and at the same time, i'm stunned and appalled that millions can entertained by card board cuts outs. don't get me wrong, i'm not appalled by your statement, i could argue for or against you. so i agree with you, that the gm could put out more effort, updating the game docs, or at least the weapons stats!!! fixing or shining up the current worlds would be neat. but given what we got. lets go with it. and do what we can to improve our game
