Plato (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, February 24, 2010 - 01:37 pm Does this mean that I can no longer IPO all of the shares in Country controlled corp to my CEO? |
Vicious (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, February 24, 2010 - 04:53 pm You can still do that. |
Joe3811 (Golden Rainbow) | Wednesday, February 24, 2010 - 04:59 pm There's a thread down in "problems" where some of us thought this was a glitch. It appears the GM's didn't like us converting ECPC's to CCPC's to make room for another corp within the enterprise cap. Note: ECPC=Enterprise Controlled Public Corp, CCPC = Country Controled Public Corps per "Wildeye's Guide". I have to admit I've been tempted to hold down sales in my ECPC so price would fall and it'd be cheap to buy shares for my country, but this isn't worth the trouble. Almost all the losses would be to the Enterprise so there'd be little net gain. |
Jojo the Hun | Thursday, February 25, 2010 - 02:54 am Why do it that way? Seems to make more sense to do the opposite, convert CCPCs to ECPCs. Anyway that's what noggin tells me. |
Luonnotar (Little Upsilon) | Friday, February 26, 2010 - 05:01 am Yeah, that's not too useful anyway. If you want to get over the cap there are less irritating ways to do it than flip public corps back and forth. It would only work up to a certain point anyway. |
Joe3811 (Golden Rainbow) | Friday, February 26, 2010 - 05:55 am What are the the other ways to get around the cap? Does it work as well to create state corps then go directly to CCPC's? |
Luonnotar (Little Upsilon) | Friday, February 26, 2010 - 06:12 am IPO corporations from countries you control or from a second enterprise |
Jojo the Hun (Fearless Blue) | Friday, February 26, 2010 - 11:46 pm Joe, it works fine to IPO state corps into CCPCs. But ECPCs are preferable. State->CCPC->ECPC. |
