Why not email the gms, who I am sure are already well aware of such happenings.... Putting it on the forum will get you nowhere.... but killed!! They are probably on their way RIGHT NOW :)

Fake players are made from papier-mache. As such, just lit a match, throw it and step back.

I too am confused. What are fake players and feeder factories? I assume a fake player is a multi but what are feeder factories? Would bidding on and purchasing these 'feeder factories' as a means to combat them benefit the Simcountry community? They are a bad thing right? Tell us more.

It's me,I have to confess, I believe I may be a fake player since I'm not really here, I don't even know where here is, here is somewhere else than i am cause I'm in bed and you guys aren't in my bed so i suppose I should say there instead of here but I don't know where there is either so I must be fake right? Maybe you guys are the fake ones? Laguna...the bananas...the prius...was it a dream? The shrinkwrap and cooking oil felt so real.....

I'm not quite sure either, Aaron... Maybe we should both sit on the backseats of a Prius again and see what happens. :)

Well, at least at first I thought he was referring to the Potemkin countries scattered around.

Potemkin Country = A conspiracy theory that fake, hollow facades of countries are continuously created and cycled through to give the impression more players exist than in reality.

but now I wonder if he is referring to the same alleged phenomenon.

That's an interesting thought. How do you tell the difference between a real persons country and a Potemkin country?

using multiple accounts, or what? I don't see a point to that practice.

I really don't see the point to that either. I don't know for sure what would give someone the idea someone else is doing that. If one was to take a c3 and contract products to your empire and then cancel the c3 would the contracts stay in effect through multiple owners if they weren't manually cancelled? Possibly this might lead someone to believe one was running "fake countries". This is really just a guess as I don't really know for sure if that would work or why he thinks someone is doing what he says.

Actually I've thought about using a second e-mail address to start a country for the two free weeks you get. I'd run that country at a loss, building industries that are big time losers (wood, coal, sulfur, milk, maybe some soybeans for Crafty), sell these products to my main, then toward the end do worker exchanges to get all the skilled labor and leave the country with my excess LLW's. You could call this a fake country. Right now I don't have time for this, but I'm still considering it.

LOL That's against the rules Joe and not a wise thing to admit to doing or planning to do. I'm sure you are new and don't realize this because you haven't read it yet but it is.

On top of that, I can't figure out what benefit you would get out of it. Regardless of whether or not you contract them to yourself from your fictitious country or just buy them on the world market, you'll pay the same base price (though on the world market, you can specify the quality you'd like).

As for the worker exchanges, you can do far better worker exchanges (up to 400k/month) if you just conquer a c3, versus between multiple accounts (which would be limited to 200k/month).

Having two accounts with different emails and playing on different world is still legit.

Also, if a returning vet feels like starting from scratch and making some gold coins by getting those levels, it's legit.

Up to level 10 it's easy.
Level 11 is killing me and it looks like I am not the only one.

P.S. I am a returning vet. I have played since December 2003 with the exception of few months in 08-09 where I took a break to salvage my mental health.

Salvage mental health? You were already screwed up when you got here! And the less we speak about the state of your mental health when you left the better. :p
