Plato (Little Upsilon) | Thursday, December 3, 2009 - 04:11 am Here is my first monthly profit on a SMF corp. These have been fat, money-sucking cash vacuums. Perhaps this is a sign of better things to come. Profit & Loss -- Current Month Income Cost Products Sold 6,525.70M SC$ Total: 6,525.70M SC$ 4,157.28M SC$ |
Plato (Little Upsilon) | Tuesday, December 8, 2009 - 02:17 pm Hope you guys stores some SMF in your CEO's like I did when there was an overage. These corps are about to become cash cows now that SMF is being used by more corps. |
Tattooed Priest (Golden Rainbow) | Thursday, December 10, 2009 - 06:47 am This is off the subject but are there any Twisted Sister fans here? I used to listen to them and SMF stood for something else in one of their songs. Anyone remember? Thanks for sharing your information though Plato. I haven't had any luck with those corps myself. I have had better luck with car engines corps. |
Tyr (Fearless Blue) | Thursday, December 10, 2009 - 04:40 pm All my SMF corps closed themselves down after I stoped transfering money in. Never mind....rebuilding starts. |

Plato (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, February 10, 2010 - 02:56 am I am closing my SMF corps. These have been around 3 month and have only had brief periods of profitability with long periods of huge losses. There are only 106 corps on LU and that is probably 20 - 40 too many considering demand. Right now these are corps that we should let the C3s build and take the debt from. Perhaps when Space trading comes in, I will rethink these corps. I am disappointed that the promised profitability was not realized. |
Berand (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, February 10, 2010 - 06:21 pm Just to reinforce Plato's point. The carry on the Ammo. upgrade and Weap. upgrade corps had been as bad as SMF's. This month, we've gotten some relief there, and the promise of profitabilty is fullfilled. I'd like to thank the GM's, first, for that great follow through on a statement of change to come. Now, with 7 other corps buying exclusively from my SMF, it is still a bottomless pit of fire hotter than the furnace of Mordor that burns my money, gold rings, all forms of lucre and any other consideration I bother to put in it's presence. Perhaps it is meant to be like nuclear, and only for those with the will to have at any cost, but as it is a product used in most airborne munitions, that seems a bit far-fetched. Kudos again on the new dimensions of upgrades. Now, about tieing the price of Copper and Wood to average home values on each continent..... |
