Friday, September 25, 2009 - 11:56 pm We are developing space travel features that will allow players to use shuttles for flights between their countries and space stations carrying products, weapons, ammunition to and from markets that will be placed on these space stations. Although the first version will have space stations that are all owned by the game master, players will be able to setup their own space stations, setup markets on these space stations and store products. It will be possible to sell storage space on the space stations to others, and allow them to store their own products, strategic reserves and trade on these markets or elsewhere. Trading will be immediate, like the current direct trading of game money and gold coins and pricing will be quoted in gold coins. Products that are traded on these space stations must be stored there before they are offered on the market and must be moved to a cargo shuttle once the trade is completed. Cargo shuttles will transport products from space stations to any countries on all planets and also to other space stations where the products can be stored or traded.

Saturday, September 26, 2009 - 02:18 am I can shoot down shuttles that are transporting goods and troops? Eventually build/destroy stations? Build your armies on LU where it's fast speed and unleash them on a slower world? I hope this isn't going to suck. LU produces twice as fast. You're starting a "Space Scare" in my country, our sim citizens are worried you're going to get them invaded by aliens from another(faster) planet. They're demanding I acquire weapons! How about a new class of 'space' weapons so we can pop those illegal aliens before they get here and take all our jawbs?! lol

Saturday, September 26, 2009 - 04:25 pm We intend to add space weapons and indeed, there are all kinds of questions raising, concerning pricing, production, and the defense of shuttles and space stations. step by step, we will introduce all these features. The differences between markets/planets will introduce more opportunities than problems.

Saturday, September 26, 2009 - 04:58 pm I like this idea Tom. Thx for doing it. I am stronger on LU. I would like a means to send goods to other planets to rebuild my GR empire and support some FB expansion. This should be good.

Saturday, September 26, 2009 - 05:05 pm It's tongue in cheek, I'm looking forward to it

Sunday, October 4, 2009 - 07:22 am Tom - Will all countries be on the same clock to start this. LU moves at twice the speed of WG -- so if an LU player attacked a WG player, that player would have twice as many turns worth of spending avalible, production avalible, etc for the attack. I'd like to request that either: 1. The game clocks be equalized OR 2. The production capacity all worlds be adjusted based on their cycle. This would mean that: A- all the worlds that have 4 cycles in a RL day would have no changes B- WG, with a 3 cycle day would produce 1/3 more a month than the 4 cycle countries (and thus would have the same production capacity as the 4 cycle worlds C- LU would produce 1/3 less a month (and thus would have the same production capacity as the 4 cycle worlds. Thus, all would have the same strength. WG countries would have fewer turns in a day, but would have increased population growth, production capacity, etc. LU would have reduced population growth, production capacity, etc. However, over 1 day, population would change by the same amount, production would be the same, profit the same, etc for all worlds.

Monday, October 5, 2009 - 04:04 am I can't sign off on that last paragraph but A/B/C and 1/2 sound good.
