Solomon Grundy (Little Upsilon) | Sunday, August 23, 2009 - 05:06 pm Ok... let me post some information so this all makes sense: Building new Roads "The amount of roads you own, plus your back orders, is more than five times the needed amount. You cannot request any more." Need for additional roads Operational 136,701 Needed 27,109 Train Tracks: Operational 54,476 Needed 10,844 Same message that I can't request more if I try to build tracks also. Now I have had these roads and tracks in place for a couple of weeks, with no back orders. My transportation index is still slowly dropping even after bulking my roads/tracks up to this level a couple of weeks ago. My index is a measly 101.99! The graph shows it slowing in it's decent, am I just not having EIGHT WEEKS worth of patience when I should have? what's going on? In a desperate measure I'm doubling my water facilities to see what affect if any it may have. No other index would take this long to register. I'm clueless, anybody have any ancient Simcountry wisdom they can share? |
Aaron Doolavay (White Giant) | Sunday, August 23, 2009 - 06:05 pm your water treatment installation index is 102. Your index will only be as high as the lowest index. If you build 190 more water treatment inst. you;ll have roughly the number needed to bring your index up to where you want them. |
Aaron Doolavay (White Giant) | Sunday, August 23, 2009 - 06:07 pm ...also, even after building all that your index will slowly continue to drop as the population of your country grows. |
Solomon Grundy (Little Upsilon) | Monday, August 24, 2009 - 11:21 am Now I understand, people can't get home from work because the water pressure isn't high enough! LOL Thanks |
King Xenu (Kebir Blue) | Thursday, August 27, 2009 - 03:44 am They may not want to get home! No water pressure equals no water for showers! Oh the smell! |
Solomon Grundy (Little Upsilon) | Thursday, August 27, 2009 - 11:57 am I was thinking of just clicking on 'Fascist State' and simply having enough people arrested to raise the index. After staging some bus crases into our water towers of course. We'll have to write a few new laws in order to keep these water abusers in prison for longer periods though, they seem to get released and go right to a tap or shower and start using water again lowering the water pressure on our 'elite' rule class sims, and of course, as everyone knows, that isn't right because elite ruling class sims believe they are something special. Down with the water abusers! (We're going to Serfboard our sims. We have alot of serfs!) |
