Ummagumma (Little Upsilon) | Sunday, July 19, 2009 - 03:26 pm Yesterday I received a dec. of war, I guess wars start after a short delay as it said it would start at a certain date later in the day. Woke up this morning and war was over, my country gone. The war only lasted a few game months? (I counted 2 or 3). I never got a shot in. I had a Defense index of over 200. Is it really that easy to take over other peoples countries in this game? I thought the defensive weapons were worth something in this game, .....trippy. Either that or the automatic defense personnel fell asleep on the job... wow. |
The High Profitess (Little Upsilon) | Sunday, July 19, 2009 - 04:24 pm There are alot of factors to take into account when defending your country. Your index doesn't always mean you will have a hard time taking a country. For example, having a defense geared towards air and missile defense should give you a nice defense index over 200, but a strong ground invasion will quickly make for an easy conquer. Refer to Wildeyes' guide in this general forum, rebuild and go kick some arse. |
Zeba (Golden Rainbow) | Wednesday, July 22, 2009 - 08:29 pm Ammo levels are easily over looked and as you can imagine weapons are useless without them. War Index is a major contributor to length of time it takes to take a country...imperative that you have 100 forts...an inactive country with no Garrisons takes 2-3 hours to take down. An inactive country with a War index of 60 and no garrisons can fall in 15-60 Minutes. PM me, or check the GREF Forum for more info concerning your defense. |
