The Goldern Khan (Fearless Blue) | Tuesday, May 19, 2009 - 08:19 pm Dont you just love democracy. You elect a few MPs, said MPs spending millions of your tax money on themselves as 'expenses'. I think the french were onto something with that guillotine idea. Maybe Gordon browns head would make a nice new polo ball for the afghans. |
Maxwell 'Danger' Powers (Little Upsilon) | Tuesday, May 19, 2009 - 08:35 pm At least incontrovertible records of the corruption were kept. A most transparant example of public pilfery. Whilst public servants must be above reproach, I think there are grander examples of corruption at other levels of local and national government. |
The Goldern Khan (Fearless Blue) | Wednesday, May 20, 2009 - 03:31 pm Since this was not 'against' the law, it makes you wonder how many millions the MPs have needed for expenses over the years. At least with a dictator you are not suprised by such actions. With elected MPs....me thinks the guillotine would help cut public expenditure. |
Pope Samtator IX (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, May 20, 2009 - 03:42 pm I thought the Queen did all the head chopping in the UK... OFF WITH THEIR HEADS~! |
Noproblem (Fearless Blue) | Thursday, May 21, 2009 - 01:18 am Yes-off with their heads! But wait! Did somebody say something about the Magna Carta? Damn thing gets in the way of all that head chopping. |
Ravenous Cannibal (Little Upsilon) | Thursday, May 21, 2009 - 02:30 am The magna carta did not ban head chopping, boiling in lead, hulling, or draw and quartering. |
The Goldern Khan (Fearless Blue) | Thursday, May 21, 2009 - 07:43 pm The magna carta is old news.Time to freshen up the law with a nice shinny new guillotine. Maybe a new bowling ally could be opened next to parliment using the heads of our beloved MPs. |
Barney Rubble (Little Upsilon) | Thursday, May 21, 2009 - 11:07 pm Was there a first? |
Laguna | Thursday, May 21, 2009 - 11:18 pm Englishmen like to plan ahead. |
