Nute Gunray (Golden Rainbow) | Friday, February 27, 2009 - 03:41 am Greetings to all Presidents and CEO's of SimCountry. Well met. I have now been elected as member of the Security Council member on both of the worlds where I am currently playing - Golden Rainbow and Little Upsilon. I must take this once in a lifetime opportunity to get to know all of you better. I have previously served in the Security Council on Golden Rainbow for one full term. I have been the dedicated President of UNITED STAR TRADE FEDERATION on Golden Rainbow since September 2441. I have been the dedicated President of CHAIN GANG on Little Upslion since March 2254. I am pledging now that as a member of the Security Council on Little Upsilon and Golden Rainbow I Nute Gunray will use my wisdom to make this a better SimCountry. I posting here on this forum not only to address the players but also to speak up to the GameMaster. I know that for SimCountry Presidents and CEO's the crisis that the SimCountry economy is going through is a concern that rises above all others. The fact the GameMaster is trying to shrink our profits, our cash reserve in our countries, CEO's and our corpoations is a matter of grave concern for many of my friends and I. We have known for several weeks now some of the causes to this danger faced by all. Thanks to many wise players such as John R, quaxocal, Keith Allaire, Jack Frost, Stuart Taylor, Beast, and many others this major and decisive issue has been brought to the attention of the GameMasters. Their response was not very encouraging to me. I have seen several players dicide to quit over this issue. Now I will not go into all the details of the problems facing the economy as they can be read elsewhere. I will however assert that our survival depends on finding a way to convince the GameMasters that the present course of decreasing cash in the game is not in our best interest nor in the best interest of the game. Right now I truely believe that the members of SimCountry are faced with a make or break crisis. I have read many of the post on the forum that are facing this issue, as well as making several post. I logged into my account today and saw this message form the GameMaster, and I decided that it was an omen.

You have been elected as member of the Security Council for a period of 182 months. Please use your wisdom to make this a better world. E-mail:
I will now have to follow through on the GameMasters advice, "Please use your wisdom to make this a better world." I will now be pleased to use my wisdom to make this a better game. My first order of business is to call for a general economic summit. I will introduce a vote on the both the Simcountry public voting panel as well as the Exclusive Voting panel. These proposals will be identical and will be calling for the organizing a boycott in real world terms i.e. no more real world U.S. dollars for SimCountry till the game is worth playing again. Look, if you had, one shot, or one opportunity To seize everything you ever wanted-One moment Would you capture it, or just let it slip. I truely believe that online game players can decide to boycott an online game that was the number one mmog but is now been kicked to the gutter. A boycott will take place if enough players are asking for it. You can enter into a boycott by expressing your desire to stop funding the online game. The requests to start a boycott can be enacted when you decide to not pay any more realworld dollars to the online game. If there are enough online game players requesting and enacting the boycott the game will either have to respond with more favorable conditions to encourge the online game players to end the boycott or the game will start to lose all its income. If the game loses it income the real world cash levels in the game will begin to be reduced and the game will either have to take out huge loans or go out of business. Even if the game takes out massive loans if they do not take measure to end the boycott they will go bankrupt. Now is the time to act boldly and wisely -- to not only revive this economy, but to build a new foundation for lasting prosperity. I am now requesting a boycott of a SimCountry. I am now requesting a boycott of a SimCountry. I am now requesting a boycott of a SimCountry. I am now requesting a boycott of a SimCountry. ShcyzMattiCa (Little Upsilon) | Friday, February 27, 2009 - 04:19 am Well Spoken, I love this game, truly have loved this game and its intricacies for about a year plus now. This chain of events recently has not only perplexed me but has made me ask myself why I even tried to become a top player when in a twinkling it was and/or can be brought to naught by drastic game changes masked by slow or surprise implementation. As an individual rl person, I loved this game soo much I wanted to help it grow and even wanted to support it with active rl investment to forward the game in rl. My husband talked me out of it. Though I fought tooth and nail, he still won and I had to back down. I once believed that this game, though it can be improved upon had the potential to grow many times larger than it is now. I have now come to conclusion that my hormones were imbalanced (as Grayson says) to think that I should sink real money in who knows what amount into this game development or to argue with my softspoken husband who once mentioned this game to me. I must have been blinded by the fun I was having thinking that it would last. But as the saying goes, all good things come to an end. I'm just saying, I am very confused at the aims of the management of the game right now. Though I am not in their shoes, my opinion may be too strong as I do not have all the facts and am not aware of the motivations for such changes to occur. However, first hand customer feedback is always a leading tool to gauge how well things are or are not going for business growth and/or development. I think this should be a wake up for w3c. Come on you guys, show me a finished product, concrete to invest in, then me and my hubby can kiss and make up. If I argued with him for you guys for nothing, I may have to take it out on the ????? quaxocal (Golden Rainbow) | Friday, February 27, 2009 - 04:38 am On behalf of the Golden Rainbow Economic Federation Council, we support the boycott of Simcountry until changes are made to how the customer service of W3C Interactive works with regard to player problems and complaints, and some of the problems with the game are fixed or promises made that they will be fixed or addressed.
