My wife and I are considering buying a mixed breed chinchilla. I am having a hard time deciding on which type to get. I hear the pure breed chinchillas are vicious and often attack children and/or eat your toes off while you sleep. So that is out of the question.
Have any suggestions? A friend of mine tells me that the chinchilmonkey is a nice pet but tends to throw poo. I have heard that the chinchilrat is easy to tame but gnaws out of cages easily.
I am leaning toward the chinchilguana, they eat fruit and you can buy little collars for them and walk them. I think I need to get some sleep now. |
