If W3C wishes to have newer players participate in the chat and in the game, this kind of behavior in the chat needs to be put a stop to. Who would want to join in a chat discussion when it looks like this post? This is completely and utterly ridiculous. We have children as young as 10 or 11 playing this game. Wendy from the start, has thought of me as being Sam, and I totally don't understand why. She feels its because I have a similar name to his old one? The Mayan name? Sam and Dirt, I appreciate the compliments from both of you, coming from two well-regarded veterans of the game. I will publicly state that I have no quarrel with the UC or anyone else. I do not wish to be involved in the war aspect of Simcountry as this time, as I do not feel I have the economic base or knowledge as of yet to do so. When I war, I want to at least have a chance of a fair fight, instead of losing like a C3. Real-life also is an issue, as I have a full-time job who's hours go up/down depending on my needs and my job's needs. I've been on alot the last few days, because I've been sick with the flu. I'm not a "stay in bed and do nothing" kind of guy. As for Wendy, I have tried in the past to be respectful to her, even when others have not. Her actions though toward me and others, have made me lose respect toward her. I will acknowledge however, that regardless of present feelings toward her, I feel that if given the chance, she can be quiet intelligent and pleasant to talk to, and reasonable as well. I've experienced this a few times in the chat. As for Capone, similar with Wendy. If given a chance, he's a really nice guy, very respectful and knowledgeable. I think alot of the perceptions of people in this game, is because of how these people treat each other. I've found no one, when talking one-on-one, to be the way they are in these forums (Sam, Jason, Capone, Wendy in particular). I think if everyone just cooled with the insults and personal grudges a bit, and treated this more like a game, we would all see, that everyone here is pretty decent and pleasant to talk to. Reputations and perceptions can be hard to change though. And Wendy, one last thing. Where in your copy/paste did I say anything toward you? After I realized talking to you reasonably and diplomatically wasn't going to work, then yes, I started to use your tactics a bit in the chat. Made for good entertainment, but not really my style.
