nix001 | Saturday, January 24, 2009 - 10:49 pm I hav'nt heard much about the Environment from Pres Obama. I hope the people who put him in power arn't gonna distract him from the issue. And I'm sure FarmerBob you still hav'nt answered my question: 'But as nation's become poorer, what happens then?' I will scan the other threads and check. But I'm sure you hav'nt |

Quit watching 70's porn and tune to your news channel. |
nix001 | Sunday, January 25, 2009 - 01:34 am You like that 70's look then do you JR. All a bit too furry for me. So from what you have heard he is on the ball. Nice to know. Any talk about joining KYOTO? |
Stalin716 | Sunday, January 25, 2009 - 05:01 am Kyoto has to be ratified by the Senate as it would be considered a treaty.... thank God for that! Means who cares what Obama wants or promised, it has to be ratified by more thoughtful people, not a parliment of 'Owl' Gores |
Alexander Platypus (Little Upsilon) | Sunday, January 25, 2009 - 09:39 am I dont know if the USA will ratify Kyoto, my guess is its become too much of a heated flash point. But there are other ways the USA can help combat climate change. Clearly the Obama administration and the 111th congress *are* interested in helping solve the world's environmental problems, as opposed to ignoring science and lying about what its discovered (as the previous admin. and congresses did). There is a reason a whole bunch of Nobel Laureates came out to condemn the Bush admin.'s muzzling of rational science in pursuit of its extremist political agenda. Even John Mccain admits global warming is real and humans caused it. |
Alexandria Hollander | Monday, January 26, 2009 - 09:43 pm "Ignore the Environment. It will go away." Best Bumper Sticker Ever. Makes the point beautifully. The only way to see who is actually right, is who takes the last gasp of air. See you there. |
